I'm not sure but... It has to be somewhere, right? Maybe it fell off somehow when you were out. [Like in one of dem fightclouds.]

But... how? [How could he lose a sock outside? That seems so weird...]

I don't know. But if it's not in the house, it could be outside somewhere. [It couldn't have really just... vanished, could it?]

So you could try looking around out there! [...] Do you remember what places you went to before you lost it?

I did a lot yesterday.

Like what? [Surely you remember something, right... and at least that could be a start for where to look..!]

I went to the rec center. [Like always.]

But I keep my shoes on there.

The beach. [But he didn't go to the beach.]
