[Yellow and Gold were at the grocery store, looking for whatever food they were looking for. While passing through the fruits section, they pass by and spot a pile of lemons. No big deal, right? Well. You know. Besides the fact that one of those lemons looked like it had been spawned by a radioactive Grimer. Or something. ...No, really. What the hell is that.]

Whoa... Yellow, check this thing out!

Huh? Yeah, Gold? ... W-woah... What is that?!

I don't know! It looks like a lemon, but... But...!

A-are you sure...?! It's with the lemons and has parts that look like them, but altogether it's...

Totally deformed... What the hell makes it comes out like this?

Maybe something got on it while it was growing...?

It's a mutant lemon! C'mon, let's take it with us!

[Sooo at this time, the pair can be spotted either flipping out over this demonic lemon thing, or on their way back to House 11, demonic lemon in hand. Yup.]

[Alternatively, later on in the day, they could also be found in the middle of the plaza, sitting or standing behind a makeshift lemonade stand. It has a sign taped in front of it, reading "LEMONADE" in bright orange crayon. There's no price obviously, because. Well. Yeah. Yellow and Gold may actually find your character first and call them over to try the drink they made with the lemon they found earlier. Which is surprisingly good, mind you. You won't die drinking juice of such a monstrous lemon. Really...! While there, Yellow will go ahead and throw up a video entry over the journals, showing off their fabulous stand.]

Hi, everyone! Gold and I found a huge lemon earlier, so we decided to make some lemonade and set up a stand for it over in the plaza. It's really good, so... if anyone wants a glass, then you can come on over and try or take some.

Hi guys! Um... Ash and I were talking before, and we came up with a (hopefully) good idea! There are a lot of trainers here, so we were wondering if we could have some sort of day where we all hang out and do things together. We could play games, have lunch... and you guys can battle each other too, if you want. [Since she knows how much you all enjoy that! Though of course, she won't be battling herself.] Would that be okay with you all? We haven't figured out any details like when and where to have it, so if you have any suggestions, please tell me!

[Since this filter is probably crap and not even a filter, any trainers whom Yellow hasn't met yet can easily see the post (ie. Ingo).]

[After making the voice entry, Yellow can be found just about anywhere! Venturing around the plaza, general village... probably even in the forest. She'll have all her Pokémon -- Dody (Dodrio), Ratty (Raticate), and Chuchu (Pikachu) -- with her too. Feel free to stop her wherever and say hello! Or even get trampled by Dody. That's always painful nice.]

[Morning; Written]
[This morning, Yellow's just flopped on the middle of the floor of House 15, doodling away in her journal. The drawings include a giant rat, three-headed ostrich thing, a rock, a tentacle shell monster, and a butterfly. Oh what the heck, she'll throw her Pikachu and even Mewtwo in the drawing too. Mainly because Chuchu, who is flopped right next to Yellow, suggested it. Look at all the pretty monsters gaiz. Originally this was just out of boredom, but after a moment, Yellow gets an idea. So she'll write underneath the drawing:]

If anyone happens to see any of these Pokémon, could you please let me know? --Er, well, aside from Chuchu and Mewtwo. They're already here. Apparently two of the others could show up sometime, so yeah... I miss them a lot.


[Afternoon; Action]
[Later on, around noon/the early afternoon, two of those pocket monsters will actually show up! Not that Yellow knows yet, of course. So they'll just be frolicking around Luceti. Ratty--the Raticate/rat thing--will pop up in the fountain and then scamper around the plaza. What a gorgeous wet rat it is.

The other Pokémon to show up is Dody--the three-headed bird--which is awkwardly perched on top of Community Building 2. It'll just stare at anyone walking by. And watch them. And contemplate whether or not to jump down. Quite a decision for this three-headed thing to make. Yep.

Later on, Yellow can be seen walking around with them wherever.]

Personality:
Yellow is a gentle girl who loves and cares about everyone. Her gentle nature leads to her wanting to avoid Pokémon—and people—from getting hurt as much as possible, even if they’re in the middle of a battle (which she tries to dodge in the first place). Her battle style is rather defensive in a way that prevents both her Pokémon and the opponent’s from receiving damage. Upon meeting Professor Oak and setting out to find the missing Red, he challenges her to a battle. His Pidgey constantly tries to attack her Doduo, but fails due to its continuous use of Whirlwind. The attack kept Pidgey from inflicting damage on Yellow’s partner, but it didn’t do anything to damage the opponent, either. The battle ended with neither Pokémon having a single scratch. Yellow is shown using this strategy a plethora of other times, such as when capturing a Seadra. The only time she actually battles aggressively is when it’s absolutely necessary and people are in danger, such as when the Elite Four members were attacking.

This nature of hers conveniently goes hand-in-hand with a power she received as being a child of Viridian—the power to heal. She never turns a blind eye from an injured Pokémon and won’t hesitate to heal them immediately, even if it wears her out a bit. The same can be said for humans as well. After Red’s battle with Giovanni during the RBG arc, a young Yellow found him passed out at the end of the Viridian Forest. She then took him in and nursed him to health before he finally woke up and ran off to the Pokémon League.

Friends are found to be extremely important and dear to Yellow. They always come first and she wants them to be safe, no matter what. When Erika questions the amount of Pokémon she owns, Yellow says that the ones she has now are the only ones she needs, since they’re her friends. Any others that she had caught, she released. In her sketchbook—which she basically uses as a Pokédex—there is a description for each of her Pokémon drawn in there. The descriptions all mention how each one is her friend. In the case of Red’s Pika, it wasn’t really all that close to her yet. He was simply tagging along to save Red and didn’t particularly love Yellow yet. However, in her “Pokédex” entry for him, she says how she hopes that she can befriend it.

With her hat on and her ponytail hidden, Yellow can easily be mistaken for as a young boy. Initially, this was a merely a safety tactic that Blue told her to use to hide from her enemies—The Elite Four. With the hat causing her to look like a male, it would be much harder for adversaries to identify her. Even after that incident though, she still didn’t really bother to correct anyone and let them know that she was a girl. Red didn’t even find out until the end of the GSC arc. Eventually, it even got to a point where she was somewhat embarrassed to take off her hat and reveal the ponytail to people.

On that note, she gets flustered and embarrassed rather easily. At the end of the Yellow arc, Yellow’s face pretty much implodes with blushing. She did a bit when Red patted her head, and then even more so when she noticed the red string tied from her pinky to his. Then to top it all off, Red, not yet being aware of Yellow’s gender, suggests that they just live together so he could travel with Pika while having it able to still be with Yellow, since it grew fond of her. At that point, her face just exploded with redness. She gets flustered once more at the end of the GSC arc, when Misty also suggests that everyone should live with each other. (And since Red knew of Yellow’s gender at this point, he was freaking out a bit too. Bahahaha.)


Strengths:
Yellow does quite a bit of travelling throughout her adventures, so physically, she’s in good shape. Battles don’t require the trainers to just idly stand around and shout commands, either. They require a lot of quick footing and reflexes. Even though she doesn’t battle too often and even avoids doing so, the times where she is included in such things show that she is perfectly capable of running around and not getting fatigued easily.

She’s quite sharp-minded when it comes to battle and handling dangerous situations. She tries to think steps ahead of her opponent and do things that they aren’t expecting. When Bill suggests that her Doduo should use Peck to break them out of a cave, Yellow explains that Lorelei would be expecting such a maneuver. Instead, she sends Pika out in a Pokéball to scout the area. After Lorelei noticed it, she sent out another Pokéball, but this time without any Pokémon inside of it. The plan worked out perfectly, as she and Bill were able to escape from the cave as Lorelei focused on attacking the decoy. Adding onto that, when Lorelei was ready to kill her while standing on the ice block, Yellow had her Rattata using Hyper Fang to break the block and let them escape. The fact that Yellow was able to stay ahead of her opponent the whole time is what led her to victory, as it does throughout the rest of the series, too.

In addition, she has a very strong sense of determination. If she has a goal, she will see it through. If any obstacles come her way, she’ll do her best to get around them—of course, in a way that keeps her Pokémon as minimally injured as possible. Even if people doubt her and don’t think she can do it, she still goes on to accomplish her task anyway, as seen when she first meets Erika.

Lastly, being one of the special children of Viridian, Yellow has a few powers and abilities. As mentioned previously, she can heal both Pokémon and humans. In addition to that, however, she can also sense their feelings and emotions and read their thoughts. Also, she can control the movement of some objects like Pokéballs. This helps her out on multiple occasions, such as when she was capturing a Seadra, and when she was fighting Team Rocket with Silver in Viridian City. (She manipulates a Pokéball to move outside of the cloud of cotton spores so that she could safely send out her Pokémon.)

Weaknesses:
Despite her physical fitness, Yellow is still only human and can therefore be affected by the same things as anyone else, such as illness, injuries, etc.

She gets fatigued and tired easily if she uses her abilities to read thoughts of Pokémon and heal, as Red pointed out. Sird took advantage of this by telling her to read Deoxys’ thoughts more than once, and by the time the airship started falling and everyone was trying to figure out how to escape, Yellow was perfectly sound asleep. This side effect was shown on multiple other occasions as well.

Her habit of trying not to hurt any Pokémon in battle can often be considered a naïve way of thinking. As nice and endearing of a trait it is, it makes things more difficult for her sometimes. For example, she’s pretty awful at catching Pokémon, and even admits it herself. As seen while training with Green, even after an entire day of trying, she was still unable to catch a one until he went ahead and assisted her. She just didn’t want to hurt it at all, which is kind of necessary to successfully and easily catch a Pokémon. Against her enemies this trait can also backfire and cause some struggles as well. (Though if the situation really does call for it, she’ll pull through and attack.)

First Person:
[Some fumbling noises.] U-umm… Is this working? Hmm, let’s see… [After a few seconds, the shifting stops.] I-I think it should be working now… Well, anyway! Um, is anyone there? I just woke up here—er, well, wherever this is. I’m not sure where I am, actually… S-so, is anyone out there that can help, please? I’d really appreciate it!

--Oh! I guess I should introduce myself, too! It may be a little weird for a stranger to be asking for help, haha. [A small laugh.] U-um, my name is Yellow! My friend is here too. Right, Chuchu? [“Pika!”] For anyone who’s out there, I hope we can become good friends! …Well, at least whenever I figure out where I am and where other people are. [Another lighthearted laugh, and then the feed cuts off.]


Third Person:
The wind blew softly through the forest, making the grass sway and dance. A small girl by the name of Yellow was curled up on the ground, scratching at her nose that was being tickled by the flowing grass. The girl let out a small “hnnn,” clearly not wanting to be awakened. She was just too comfortable to want to get up just yet. At least, until a slightly bigger gust came through and blew the straw hat on her head off, revealing the long, blond ponytail that was hidden underneath it. This triggered Yellow to flinch and snatch it out of the air before it could fly away. “Ah, that was a close one!” she sighed, sitting up and pulling the hat back over her head.

As she patted it down, she noticed something wet on her arm. …Oh that’s embarrassing. She was drooling in her sleep, wasn’t she? Blushing slightly, she wipes it off on her white sundress—Wait, white sundress? “H-huh? Where did this come from? …Wait, where are my clothes?” She scopes the area quickly in hopes of finding her normal attire, but none of it seemed to be around.

Actually, nothing seemed to be around. She was just surrounded by trees, grass, more trees, and more grass. The only seemingly unnatural thing besides her in the area was a journal. Or at least, what appeared to be a journal. It was just lying there, nestled in the grass. Noticing its presence, Yellow picks it up and opens it. As she flips through the pages, she realizes that it clearly wasn’t an ordinary notebook. It looked much more advanced than that. Regardless, she decides to try using it. She opens up to a blank page and starts doodling a picture. To anyone originating from a world other than her own, the sketch would just look like a very strange rat. However, to her, it was a Pokémon, Ratatta. Specifically, it was her Ratatta—the one that she befriended back at home.

“Huh… I wonder where Ratty and the others are,” Yellow muses out loud. “Guess I’ll have to go find them!” With that, she shuts the journal, gets onto her feet, and begins venturing through the forest.
